Did you know Twitter’s not just for the odd political lunatic, or two?
(Not wanting to point fingers at any one person here.)
I’m here to remind you that you can actually use the platform for job searching.

I’ve been fascinated by its potential for about 10 years when one clever job seeker- Ellison Bloomfield built up a huge network of support on Twitter, garnered introductions and a massive amount of tips to land a job at her dream company Deloitte.
Ellison had people from all over the world introducing her to their connections at Deloitte.
The impressive thing was that Ellison with this one campaign transitioned her career from HR to social media and community manager type roles too.
Read about it here.
So is this possible in today’s Twitter climate?
This is what we’re talking about today.

Today in our Career Care Package on Linkedin Live, we’re bringing you a real-life case study of someone who made her career dream come true.
When I was unhappy in my career, there were a couple of defining moments that made me realise I could make a change – and then actually make that change, I’d longed to do.
It was when a couple of friends of mine decided to work for themselves.
Without being super competitive I realised if they could do it, why not me…..
Apparently that’s a bit of a psychological trigger for career change. Who knew?
So today we’re delighted to be bringing you a real-life story.
Meet Vandana Mothure.
She’s shifted her career from Software Engineering to Analyst to Mindset Coach – and is loving it.

Boy oh boy have we got a great guest for today.
Meet Trav Bell The Bucket List Guy.
I was so inspired by his TEDx talk about injecting meaning and purpose and a massive dose of fun in our lives that of course I got to thinking about why we do this LinkedIn lives.
That’s because it’s fun, we meet great people and it’s important to be of service.
Here’s a tantalising quote from Trav’s TEDx talk.
“On the other side of your bucket list is a you that you don’t know yet.”
This is what we’re talking on today – how having and ticking off your bucket list could change your life.
Come meet Trav live today on LinkedIn Live @ 3pm (Melbourne time) Monday June 9.
