True Confession. This is the job that’s not on my LinkedIn profile

True confession time.

The worst job I have had, that I have not put on my LinkedIn profile is selling welding equipment over the phone.

No BIG surprises here.…. but guess what????

I was a bit cr*p at it.

In fact, every day I walked into that job I was convinced I would be fired.

So WHY did I take that job I hear you ask?

Well, a recruiter mate offered it to me, as a temp assignment – but she told me it was market research.

I did not want to let her down.

I stuck it out for 2 months….the length of the assignment, and in hindsight I learned some big lessons – about myself, and about my fears.
