24001798_sAre you looking for a part time Payroll job in Melbourne with flexible family friendly hours?

If the answer is yes and you have payroll experience, then I have some very good news for you.

Sonia Kokkalos, a partner in PayPlusHR, is looking for a part time Payroll Adviser.

Sonia is a good friend of mine. She’s an experienced HR practitioner and she knows what it takes to create a positive and productive workplace.

I’ve just recorded this Google Hangout Video so you can meet Sonia, and she can give you the insiders view on what the Payroll Adviser job and the company is all about.

It’s raw.

It’s not edited.

And it’s not exactly newsreader quality interviewing.

However Sonia and I filmed it as we wanted to give you the best possible idea about what the Payroll Adviser role is all about.

So you can make an informed decision about whether to apply.

Here’s how to apply…

1. Go to Sonia’s website www.recruitmentpool.com.au

2. Create a Candidate Free Profile to register with the site.

3. Once you get your password emailed to you, log in to the site.

4. Then go to “my profile” and hit “edit profile”, which takes you to a page to enter your details.

If you have a LinkedIn profile, there’s a place to link that.

We’ll be in touch from there.

If you have any issues at all logging in and creating a profile, simply send me an email to karalyn@interviewiq,com.au.

Tell me what this job is all about, again…

PayPlusHR is growing rapidly and has exciting plans for expansion.

The Directors are really busy and want someone who can contribute ideas to improve payroll processes, services and client relationships.

They also want someone who enjoys variety, interacting with people and who likes to take full ownership of any issues that come up.

  • Taking the lead in payroll implementations for new clients as they come on board.
  • Helping payroll processing and implementation procedures to ensure service excellence.
  • Providing payroll mentoring and training to other PAY plus HR Advisers in their delivery of service to clients.

This is one of those jobs that will start off as payroll, and as the company gets bigger so will the opportunity to expand your strengths and skills.

What experience do you need ?

You’ll knowledge of month and year end, superannuation, reconciliations, general ledger, payroll tax and terminations. You’ll also need previous experience managing a busy payroll.

You’re the type of person who likes taking ownership of problems and contributing to improved processes and solutions.

Who will you be working for?

The partners in PayPlusHR, Steve Nikols and Sonia Kokkalos are highly experienced former corporate executives, who want to take the best of the corporate world in terms of professionalism and offer their team work life balance, along with career opportunities.

They’re grounded people and recognize that their team have busy lives and want to create a relaxed office atmosphere with family friendly hours.

How to apply?

There are two ways to apply for this role.

Sonia will take it from there.
