A great tool for your resume
If you’re ever stuck on working out your unique qualities, put your marketing/technology hat on for a minute or two. Sometimes it’s better to ask other people. With that in mind I copied and pasted all of my Linkedin recommendations into this website, Wordle then I hit go.
Voila! An instant tag cloud. I’ve translated my word nerdiness into something visual.
I’m glad I’m so professional. 🙂
Try it for your resume. See what it says about your strengths.

Great tool, Karolyn. This Word Cloud technology also helps job seekers to identify those important key words to get their resumes and online profiles noticed by recruiters. Job seekers try this: take a job posting in which you are interested and paste it into Wordle. Then do the same with your resume and online profile. Now, play a word-match game. Your resume and online profile in Wordle needs to match most of the same words on the job posting in order to get the recruiter to “smile and dial” and invite you for an interview! Easy, eh?
Great idea Shari, thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks Kris, It’s fun isn’t it!
This is a great tool for anyone who’s not 100% clear on what their strengths and key qualities actually are, thanks!
